[Edaily Reporter Son Eui-Yeon ] Musical actor Yang Jun-mo (46) is set to marry Yang Ji-won (38), a former member of Spica.

On the 24th, Yang Jun-mo and Yang Ji-won each posted messages on social media announcing their marriage.

Yang Jun-mo began by saying, “Some of you might be surprised that this news is coming a bit late, but there have been many changes in my life over the past few years,” adding, “After much deliberation, we decided to end our marriage in 2023 and go our separate ways.”

He continued, “During this time of rebuilding my life step by step after a difficult period, there was a person I love and am grateful to who stood by my side as a source of warmth and helped me find my smile again,” adding, “With that person—who reminded me once again how precious even an ordinary day spent together can be—I am now set to become a family and start a new life.”

Yang Jun-mo said, “From now on, we will be each other’s best friends and steadfast allies; we will laugh a lot, love deeply, and live our lives to the fullest,” and asked, “Please warmly bless our new beginning.”

Yang Ji-won also revealed, “We had been planning to get married early next year, but thankfully, I’m expecting a baby and will become a mother next year,” adding, “So we’ve decided to move up the wedding.”

She continued, “Starting a family has long been one of my greatest hopes, and finally, I’ve been granted the chance to build a home with the person I love.” She added, “I’m still a bit dazed by all these major life changes happening at once, but I’m grateful and will do my best to learn and adapt step by step.”

Yang Jun-mo made his musical theater debut in 2004 with the opera “Geumgang” and has since appeared in productions such as “Empress Myeongseong,” “The Man Who Laughs,” and “Hero.”

Yang Ji-won debuted as a member of the girl group SPICA and was active with songs such as “Russian Roulette.”
