[Edaily Starin Gim Ga Yeong Reporter] Woo Seo-yoon, the eldest daughter of former basketball player and TV personality Woo Ji-won, was crowned “Jin” at the 70th Miss Korea Pageant.

Woo Seo-yoon claimed the crown—the highest honor—at the finals of the 70th Miss Korea Pageant, held on the 22nd at the COEX Auditorium in Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
Woo Seo-yoon advanced to the finals after being selected as the regional representative for the Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Incheon area. Upon being crowned Miss Korea, she shared her thoughts, saying, “I didn’t expect this. My fellow contestants worked so hard,” and added, “We were able to put on a wonderful performance through painstaking effort, one step at a time.” She continued, “I’m grateful to my family and friends for their encouragement and support.”
Woo Seo-yoon is majoring in fine arts at Tufts University in the United States. She is reportedly aspiring to become a global art curator. As a child, she gained public recognition by appearing on the SBS show “Star Junior Show: Bungeoppang” alongside her father, Woo Ji-won. She recently attracted attention by appearing on the tvN STORY and E-Channel dating reality show “My Kid’s Love 2.”
Jeon Su-wan, the daughter of professional basketball coach Jeon Hee-cheol, also competed in this pageant but did not win any titles. Jeon Su-wan was previously crowned Miss Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Incheon. She first gained recognition by appearing on Season 1 of “My Kid’s Love.”
In this pageant, Oh Su-min was crowned Miss, and Lee Min-sol was named Miss Runner-up.
