On the 25th, Jang Dong-yoon shared the news on his social media, writing, “I will be marrying someone I’ve been with for a long time this coming October,” and added, “We plan to hold a quiet, religious ceremony with our families present.” She continued, “There was a great deal of thought and deliberation leading up to this decision,” explaining the reason behind her decision to marry: “As we spent a lot of time together, we got to know each other’s various sides, and as a result, we came to understand and cherish each other even more.” He stated, “We’ve decided to be there for each other as our closest partners and to live a fun and happy life together,” adding, “I wanted to share this news first with all of you who have always cheered me on and shared every moment of my journey as an actor.” Jang Dong-yoon said, “You may be surprised by this sudden news, but I would appreciate it if you could watch over us with warm hearts,” adding, “I will strive to continue showing my best as an actor and to live a more mature life as a person.” A representative from Jang Dong-yoon’s agency, BH Entertainment, also confirmed that day, “Jang Dong-yoon will marry Kim Seung-yoon this coming October.” Born in 1992, Jang Dong-yoon first gained attention as the “handsome college student who caught a robber” after appearing on “SBS News” in 2015 for apprehending a robber at a convenience store in Gwanak-gu, Seoul, while attending Hanyang University. He made his official debut in 2016 with the web drama “Female Employees at a Game Company.” Since then, he has been actively appearing in dramas such as “School 2017,” “To Those Who Have Forgotten Poetry,” “Dance Girls,” “Joseon Romance: The Green Bean War,” “Oasis,” “Morning Comes to the Psych Ward,” “Flowers Bloom Even in the Sand,” and “The Mantis.” He also expanded his scope by trying his hand at directing through films such as “Be My Ears” and “Nurok.” He will appear in the Disney+ series “The Miracle of Namiya General Store,” set to premiere next year. Kim Seung-yoon, born in 1997, made a name for himself through his roles in director Hong Sang-soo’s films *In the Water*, *Our Day*, and *The Traveler’s Need*. He formed a professional connection with Jang Dong-yoon by starring in the films *Be My Ears* and *Nurok*, both directed by Jang. He gained widespread recognition for his role as Han Bom, the daughter of Han Dong-seok (played by Ahn Jae-wook), in the KBS2 drama *Please Take Care of the Eagle 5 Brothers*.
