[Edaily Reporter An Yu-ri ] Cybersecurity firm SOFTCAMP CO., LTD(258790)announced on the 25th that it is partnering with DST International (DSTI), a company specializing in IT infrastructure and security implementation, to target the public sector, financial services, and retail markets.

The two companies signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on the 24th to collaborate on joint security business initiatives based on a zero-trust framework. The signing ceremony took place that day at SOFTCAMP’s DX Tower headquarters in Gwacheon, Gyeonggi Province, with the CEOs of both companies in attendance.
Through this agreement, the two companies will focus on △jointly promoting Zero Trust-based security services and document security solutions, and △collaborating on sales in new markets such as the public sector, finance, and retail.
The core of the agreement lies in the division of roles. SOFTCAMP will supply solutions based on its Zero Trust security technologies, such as document security (DRM) and remote browser isolation (RBI). DSTI will be responsible for market expansion, leveraging the experience in building IT infrastructure and security systems, as well as its sales channels, accumulated since its establishment in 2000 while serving public institutions, public corporations, and private companies.
DSTI is a company that has expanded its business into the information security sector, building on its expertise in IT infrastructure deployment—including servers and storage—and system integration (SI). In 2025, the company is strengthening its data security business by launching an “all-in-one data security platform” that integrates and manages document centralization, data encryption, print and screen watermarking, and ransomware detection and blocking within a single system.
Both companies cited the transition to the National Network Security Framework (N2SF) and the expanding adoption of AI and cloud technologies in the workplace as key drivers of their collaboration. Following the relaxation of network segmentation requirements, there is a growing need for differentiated controls based on data classification. Consequently, an approach that protects documents and data themselves—rather than relying on network segmentation—is rapidly gaining traction, particularly in the public and financial sectors. Additionally, as the use of generative AI increases, there is a growing demand to control new leakage pathways through which confidential documents may flow to external services.
Kim Hyung-tae, CEO of DSTI, stated, “The most common request we encountered at our clients’ sites was, ‘How can we protect our documents and data?’” He added, “Through our partnership with SOFTCAMP, which possesses proven Zero Trust and document security technologies, we are now able to offer our clients a more comprehensive security framework.”
Bae Hwan-guk, CEO of SOFTCAMP, stated, “Together with DSTI, which has been building infrastructure and security across various industries for 26 years, we will expand the reach of zero-trust security into new markets such as the public sector, finance, and retail.”
