[Edaily Starin Gim Ga Yeong Reporter] Actor Jang Dong-yoon has announced his engagement, and interest in his fiancée, Kim Seung-yoon, is also growing.

Born in 1997, Kim Seung-yoon majored in acting at Konkuk University’s Department of Film and Video. She began her acting career after meeting director Hong Sang-soo, who was a professor in that department.
Kim Seung-yoon made her debut in 2019 with the KBS2 Monday-Tuesday drama “Joseon Romance: Nokdujeon,” where she first co-starred with Jang Dong-yoon.
He went on to appear in director Hong Sang-soo’s films, including *In the Water*, *Our Day*, and *The Traveler’s Need*, garnering attention at film festivals both domestically and internationally. *In the Water* was even invited to the Berlin International Film Festival.
Kim Seung-yoon also starred in the films “Be My Ears” and “Nurok,” both directed by Jang Dong-yoon, and gained widespread recognition for her role as Han Bom—the daughter of Han Dong-seok (played by Ahn Jae-wook)—in the KBS2 drama “Please Take Care of the Five Eagle Brothers.”
Jang Dong-yoon announced their October wedding in a handwritten letter, explaining his decision: “There was a great deal of thought and deliberation leading up to our decision to marry. As we spent a lot of time together, we came to know each other’s various sides, and as a result, we’ve come to understand and cherish each other even more.”
He continued, “We’ve decided to be there for each other as our closest companions and live a fun and happy life together.” He added, “This news may come as a surprise, but I’d appreciate it if you could watch over us with warm hearts. I will strive to continue showing my best as an actor and to live a more mature life as a person.”
