[Edaily Reporter Park Jung-Soo ] #CHAEVI CO., LTD, a domestic electric vehicle fast-charging infrastructure operator (CPO), won two awards at the “EV Awards 2026,” earning recognition for its competitiveness in charging infrastructure operation and manufacturing technology.
CHAEVI CO., LTD announced on the 25th that it had received the “Minister’s Award in the Charging Infrastructure CPO of the Year in Korea” category and the “Consumer Choice Award in the Charging Infrastructure Manufacturing” category at the “EV Awards 2026.”
The EV Awards is the flagship program of “EV Trend Korea,” a specialized exhibition for the electric vehicle industry, and has been selecting and honoring outstanding technologies and products in the EV sector—including electric vehicles and charging infrastructure—since 2022. This year, industry experts and consumers participated in the judging process, selecting 10 companies as winners across a total of 12 categories.
CHAEVI CO., LTD received the “Minister’s Award for Korea’s Charging Infrastructure CPO of the Year,” based on a combination of 80% expert evaluation and 20% consumer voting. The company explained that it was recognized comprehensively for its charger manufacturing technology, infrastructure operational capabilities, and customer-centric service competitiveness.
CHAEVI CO., LTD operates and manages approximately 10,000 fast-charging stations nationwide. Last April, it became the first charging infrastructure CPO company in Korea to list on the KOSDAQ market.
The company has also established a data-driven operational system that utilizes accumulated operational data to select charging station locations and forecast demand. Based on this, it is enhancing the utilization rate and operational efficiency of its charging infrastructure while simultaneously advancing the development of next-generation ultra-fast charging solutions, such as the megawatt charging system (MCS) and AI-based operational software.
The next-generation megawatt-class ultra-fast charging platform, “CHAEVI MCS,” received the “Consumer Choice Award in the Charging Infrastructure Manufacturing Category.” Winners of this award are selected based entirely on consumer surveys.
CHAEVI MCS is an ultra-fast charging platform capable of delivering up to 2.2 MW of power, developed with the goal of achieving a full charge in under 5 minutes. Designed to meet the demand for electrification in large commercial vehicles and logistics, the company plans to target the megawatt-class charging market in the future.
Based on a business structure that encompasses everything from charger manufacturing to infrastructure construction and operation, CHAEVI CO., LTD is also expanding its customer services. The company operates “Barochae-bi,” a “Plug and Charge” (PnC) service where everything from vehicle authentication to payment is automated once the connector is plugged in, as well as “CHAEVI STAY,” a multifunctional charging cultural space that combines rest areas, food and beverage services, and car washes.
Choi Young-hoon, CEO of CHAEVI CO., LTD, stated, “Winning two awards at the EV Awards 2026 is significant as it publicly validates the technological, operational, and service competitiveness that CHAEVI CO., LTD has built up over the years.” He added, “Based on the operational experience we’ve gained in the field, we will continue to advance our charging technology and customer-centric services to provide a more convenient and stable charging environment.”
Meanwhile, CHAEVI CO., LTD is participating in “EV Trend Korea 2026,” which is being held at COEX in Seoul through the 27th. The award-winning CHAEVI MCS is scheduled to be exhibited in the EV Awards Special Pavilion.
