Distributor Lotte Entertainment announced on the 26th, “As the movie ‘Gyeongju Trip’ opens today, we are releasing a soundtrack and a scriptbook that will allow viewers to cherish the film’s profound afterglow for a long time.”
“Gyeongju Journey” is a family revenge drama about four women—a mother and her three daughters—who, after an eight-year wait, embark on a “killer” trip in memory of their youngest daughter, “Gyeongju,” who never returned from a school field trip.
The OST album, which maximizes the genre’s appeal, will be released at 6:00 p.m. on the 26th. The OST, executive produced by music director Kim Hae-won, delivers a sensorial soundscape to audiences.
This album features a total of 25 tracks, including the main title track “The Great Chase”—which condenses the film’s latter-half chase scenes into a single epic piece—as well as the deeply emotional vocal track “Today Is a Clear Day” performed by “Seedless Watermelon Kim Dae-jung,” along with 24 score tracks that richly complement the film’s unpredictable narrative.
