[Edaily Starin, Reporter YUN GI BACK ] Singer Lim Young-woong is marking his 10th debut anniversary with a collection of 10 songs. Going beyond the typical scope of a special album—which usually features just a few new tracks—he has put together a collection with 6 new songs and 4 reworked versions of his signature hits, creating a body of work on par with a full-length album.

According to his agency, Mulgoi Music, Lim Young-woong revealed the tracklist for his special digital album “IM HERO 10” via his official social media accounts on the 28th. The album consists of a total of 10 tracks and will be released on various music streaming sites at 6:00 p.m. on September 8.
What catches the eye is the scale of the tracklist. Six songs—“Moisse,” “Baila,” “Totto,” “Please Be Happy,” “To Us Who Have Lived,” and “New York”—will be unveiled for the first time through this album. Although labeled a “special album,” it carries more weight than a simple commemorative release by featuring six new tracks alone.
In addition, four previously released tracks have been reimagined rather than simply included as-is. These include “Love Always Runs Away”—which gained immense popularity as part of the OST for the drama *Gentleman and Lady*—as well as “Grains of Sand,” “A bientot,” and his debut song “I Hate You,” all reinterpreted in new versions. With new songs and hit tracks each making up roughly half of the album, the compilation bridges the gap between the current Lim Young-woong and the past decade within a single album.

This album is also significant as a musical gift from Lim Young-woong—who marked his 10th debut anniversary on the 8th—to his fans. The “10th anniversary” theme is reflected not only in the album title but also in the album’s actual track count of 10 songs. In particular, the fact that he has re-recorded even his debut song “I Hate You” clearly demonstrates the album’s dual nature: looking back on his past career while presenting new music.
The stage comes before the digital release. Lim Young-woong will premiere all 10 tracks from the album for the first time at his “IM HERO – THE STADIUM 2” concert, taking place September 4–6 at the Main Stadium of the Goyang Sports Complex.
Rather than simply unveiling a few new songs, he is essentially bringing an entire, yet-to-be-released album to the stadium stage. Fans will experience “I’m Hero 10” first through live performances before hearing the songs as digital releases.
Two days after the concert, on September 8, the digital versions of all 10 songs will be officially released. The “Special” album prepared by Lim Young-woong to mark his 10th anniversary is, contrary to its name, anything but lighthearted. With six new songs and four tracks revisiting the past decade—for a total of 10 songs—he is kicking off his next 10 years.
