According to the Korean Film Council’s integrated computer network on the 28th, “Love Hachuping: The Legend of the Whale Gem” (“Hachuping 2”) has recorded a cumulative audience of 800,016. “Hachuping 2” continues to gain word-of-mouth traction, maintaining a 9.14 rating from actual viewers on Naver and a 98% Egg Index on CGV.
Amid this, singer Baek Ji-young will make an appearance at a stage greeting event at CGV Eungchon on the 29th. Baek Ji-young, who sang the “Hatchuping 2” OST track “Because It’s My First Time,” is scheduled to meet audiences alongside actor Hatchuping. With Baek Ji-young’s participation, this stage greeting is expected to further fuel the film’s box office momentum.
