[Edaily Starin Choi Hee-jae Reporter] TV personality Jeon Hyun-moo went on a food trip with singers Lee Chan-won and Hwang Yoon-sung, during which Lee Chan-won shared his thoughts on marriage.

On the episode of MBN and Channel S’s “Jeon Hyun-moo’s Plan 4” that aired on the 28th, Lee Chan-won—who joined as a special MC—and Hwang Yoon-sung, a top-4 finalist on “Legend of the Unknown,” visited Daegu with Jeon Hyun-moo. They showcased the essence of Daegu’s culinary scene by visiting the original “Nureun Guksu” restaurant and a famous spot for spicy catfish stew as part of the “Lee Chan-won Plan,” as well as a restaurant serving spicy braised short ribs as part of the “Viewer Plan.”
That day, Jeon Hyun-moo mentioned Kwak Tube’s absence, saying, “We’re here in Dalseong-gu, Daegu, but our ‘Daegu son-in-law’ isn’t here today.” He then added, “Instead, let’s call the ‘Son of Daegu,’” and called out to Lee Chan-won. As soon as Lee Chan-won appeared, he and Jeon Hyun-moo drew attention by performing a duet of “Jinttobaegi.”
Upon arriving at the “Nureun Guksu” restaurant, a staff member who recognized Lee Chan-won rushed over to greet him. Lee Chan-won demonstrated the true value of “Chan-to Wiki” by fluently explaining everything from the etymology and origins of Nureun Guksu to Daegu’s food culture. Jeon Hyun-moo marveled, “This seems better than the free version of artificial intelligence (AI).”

After visiting the spicy fish stew restaurant, the trio headed to a restaurant specializing in spicy braised short ribs. Jeon Hyun-moo asked Hwang Yoon-sung, “Is there anything about Lee Chan-won that you wouldn’t want to emulate?” Hwang Yoon-sung replied, “If I had to pick just one, it would be his reluctance to let me go home.” In response, Lee Chan-won drew attention by revealing his incredible drinking capacity, saying, “When I drink with Yoon-sung, we go all the way. When the two of us drink a lot, we can go through 6 to 12 bottles of soju.”
Later, upon arriving at a restaurant featured on “Viewers’ Plan,” Jeon Hyun-moo brought up the topic with Lee Chan-won, saying, “You’ve done a lot of shows with me, yet you actually said, ‘I want to try doing a show with Kang Ho-dong.’” Lee Chan-won replied, “Kang Ho-dong hyung is the one who gave me my start in the broadcasting industry, and Hyun-moo hyung is the one who’s walking this path with me right now.”
Toward the end of the meal, Jeon Hyun-moo asked both men about their marriage plans. Hwang Yoon-sung replied, “I want to work for another 10 years and get married in my early 40s.” Lee Chan-won also shared, “I plan to get married around age 45,” adding, “Before my debut, I couldn’t afford my tuition, so I worked part-time jobs to get through college. That’s why, now that things are going so well, I cherish my work deeply.”
Finally, Lee Chan-won added, “I want to release a hit song that everyone in the country will know.”
Lee Chan-won is currently active on various TV shows, including KBS2’s “Pyeon’s Restaurant” and “Immortal Songs.”
