From “PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds” to tactical arenas… Five new titles unveiled
At this year’s Gamescom, KRAFTON is targeting the global market by showcasing new titles featuring diverse genres and gameplay styles.

“PUBG: Deadnet” is a new title that expands on KRAFTON’s flagship IP, “PUBG.” It combines a multiplayer FPS set in the U.S. Pacific Northwest in 1996 with roguelike elements. A cosplay event featuring characters from the game was also held at the venue.

“NO LAW” is an open-world first-person shooting RPG. Players take on the role of the protagonist, “Gray Hacker,” exploring the city and completing missions through various means, including stealth, hacking, and gunfights. KRAFTON set up a shooting range at its booth, inspired by the game’s combat, allowing visitors to experience the gameplay firsthand.

“Project Zeta” is a tactical arena game where multiple teams compete against each other. In the currently revealed “Aran” mode, four teams of three players each battle for a limited time to secure “Prisms” and accumulate points. Victory goes to the team that scores higher than its opponents by utilizing not only combat but also cooperation and movement strategies.

“Age Twister” is a new title centered on two-player co-op gameplay. It is designed so that friends, family, and people of all ages can enjoy the game together, and at Gamescom, families continued to participate in the experience. In particular, the demo area saw wait times of over two hours, recording the longest line among the five new titles.

“Tarae: Unbound” is an action RPG based on a TONGYANG dark fantasy universe. As a title that blends TONGYANG world-building and aesthetics into the game, Krafton set up a demo area where visitors could play the game themselves and experience its world and combat firsthand.

Exhibits recreating in-game objects and spaces were placed throughout the booth, and visitors showed keen interest in the detailed spatial design, even asking whether certain elements actually appeared in the game.

Game-specific hands-on programs also energized the atmosphere on-site. At “Age Twister,” families enjoyed cooperative play together; “NO LAW” featured shooting missions; and “Project Zeta” hosted a participatory stage battle. “PUBG: Deadnet” welcomed visitors with a cosplay event, while “Tarae: Unbound” offered a gameplay experience.

By unveiling five new titles at this year’s Gamescom, KRAFTON aims to diversify its existing global gaming business—which has centered on “Battlegrounds”—across genres and IPs, and secure new global franchises.

A KRAFTON representative stated, “It is meaningful to showcase these new titles, which embody distinctive creativity and genre-bending challenges, on the global stage,” adding, “We will continue to take on new challenges to provide fresh experiences and enjoyment to gamers around the world.”
