[Edaily Starin YUN GI BACK Reporter] Rino of the group Stray Kids has donated 100 million won to flood victims in Nepal. His support for children overseas, which began before his debut, has expanded to include disaster relief, patient support, and animal protection, demonstrating his consistent commitment to giving back.

According to his agency, JYP Entertainment, on the 28th, Rinoh donated 100 million won to World Vision, an international relief and development non-governmental organization (NGO), to provide emergency relief and support livelihoods for children and families affected by the floods in Nepal. The donation will be used to provide food and nutrition, temporary shelter, drinking water, and sanitation support.
Through his agency, Rino said, “I hope my gesture brings a little comfort to those going through difficult times,” adding, “I sincerely hope that the disaster victims and everyone working hard on relief efforts in the field can return to their peaceful daily lives as soon as possible.”
Rino’s philanthropic efforts began in 2014 with the sponsorship of a child overseas through World Vision. In 2024, he donated 100 million won to a project addressing the global food crisis, becoming the youngest member of World Vision’s “Bob Pierce Honor Club.” Last year, he continued to expand the scope of his support by donating 100 million won each to Samsung Seoul Hospital and the cat protection group “Nabiya Saranghae.”
He has also joined forces with his bandmates to aid in disaster recovery efforts. Last year, he donated funds to support recovery from the wildfires in South and North Gyeongsang Provinces and the Hong Kong fires. This generosity is particularly meaningful because it is not a one-time act of kindness that began after he became a global star, but rather a tradition of giving that has continued for over 11 years, starting when he was a teenager.
Stray Kids reached No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard 200 with their mini-album “THIS & THAT,” released on the 7th, setting a record for nine consecutive No. 1s.
