[Edaily Starin KIM HYUNSIK Reporter] Official voting for the "2026 Korea Grand Music Awards" (2026 KGMA) award categories begins at 10:00 a.m. on the 31st on "Kugung."

The “2026 KGMA” is a K-pop awards ceremony presented by Ilgan Sports, a leading domestic entertainment and sports media outlet. Now in its third year, this year’s ceremony will be held over two days, November 7–8, at Gocheok Sky Dome.
The results of the mobile voting will be reflected in various award categories, including △Best Music & Artist, △Adult Contemporary, △Best OST, △Best Music Video, and △Hallyu Popularity Award. To participate in the mobile voting, search for “Kugung” on the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store and download the app.
Only overseas residents may participate in voting for the Hallyu Popularity Award, a new category introduced this year. It is expected to serve as an indicator of global fans’ preferences.
The KGMA Organizing Committee stated, “We will select and honor music across various genres that has been loved by global fans throughout the year based on fair criteria, creating a festive occasion where artists and fans come together as one.”
Meanwhile, the hosts for the first day of the awards ceremony will be Won-i from Lisenne and actress Nam Ji-hyun. The hosts for the second day will be Liz from IVE and actor Kim Jae-won. The lineup of performers will be announced sequentially at a later date.
