The three members of the vocal group C-Ya—Nam Gyu-ri, Kim Yeon-ji, and Lee Bo-ram—spoke with one voice at the “THE FAN” national tour concert held on the 30th at Kyung Hee University’s Peace Hall in Seoul.
C-Ya disbanded after a brief run from 2006 to 2011. This year, marking the 20th anniversary of their debut, they successfully reunited and resumed activities with the release of “First, Again,” their comeback album and first full-length album.
Buoyed by their fans’ enthusiastic response, SeeYa launched a nationwide tour. At the Seoul concert, which kicked off the tour, they showcased their solid vocal skills and beautiful harmonies accompanied by a live band, energetically announcing their fresh start.

◇A Journey Through Time Connecting the Past and Present
The concert began with the theme “A Time Travel Journey with C-Ya.” C-Ya kicked off the show by recreating, one after another, the “Greetings of Love” performance they had presented during their appearance on the 2020 JTBC music variety show *Sugar Man 3*, as well as the “You’re Too Wonderful for Me” performance they delivered on a music program in 2011, just before their disbandment.
After their appearance on “Sugar Man,” C-Ya had attempted a reunion but were unable to make it happen, leaving fans disappointed. During their opening performance, they displayed messages on the screen reading, “We’ve come to keep that promise” and “We’ll never part again,” which deeply moved the fans.
Following that, the three members brought Si-Ya’s comeback to life with performances of “What Never Breaks” and “STAY,” both tracks from their new album.
The members described their fans—who had consistently shown their love even during the endless wait—as a “miracle,” stating, “It was because of you that we were able to come together again as SeeYa.”

On this day, C-Ya filled the approximately 3-hour-and-30-minute runtime with a diverse array of performances, thoroughly satisfying the fans who had been eagerly awaiting their return.
The setlist included their debut song “Scent of a Woman,” as well as “Sad Footsteps,” “Shoes,” “Song of Crazy Love,” “I Still Like You,” and “Shall We Get Married?” as well as tracks from their new album, such as “The Seasons Go Round and Round,” “Afterglow,” “I Believe,” “No,” “You Are Like Spring,” and “Even So, We Are.”
The three members’ voices blended seamlessly, making their long hiatus seem nonexistent. Kim Yeon-ji delivered spine-tingling high notes with her signature explosive vocal power, while Lee Bo-ram skillfully guided the flow of the songs with her masterful control of tempo and dynamics. Combined with Nam Gyu-ri’s charming low register, the trio’s distinct vocal tones harmonized beautifully.
Performances that added a fresh twist to familiar songs also stood out. “A Woman’s Scent” showcased a unique charm through an arrangement infused with tango elements, while “Song of Crazy Love” was reimagined as an easy-listening track featuring a dreamy sound.

◇Hit Songs, New Tracks, and Dance Performances
Midway through the concert, they shifted the mood with a dance segment titled “Welcome to C-Ya Club.” The three members broke the stereotype that they were a group known only for static performances by delivering back-to-back dance routines to Clon’s “Come Back,” Kim Gun-mo’s “Wrong Encounter,” Park Mi-kyung’s “Eve’s Warning,” Cool’s “Before I Start to Feel Sad,” and their own song “Hot Girl.” The audience rose to their feet in unison, swaying to the music and responding with enthusiastic cheers.
Between performances, they added emotion and fun with videos specially prepared for the concert. In the latter half, they shifted the mood with an acoustic live segment, showcasing their vocal prowess with their respective solo songs. While singing “Shall We Get Married?”, they went down from the stage to walk through the audience, handing out flowers to fans—a gesture that created special memories.
Adding to the significance of the event, Su-mi (Lee Seo-an)—who had briefly been a member of SeeYa when Nam Gyu-ri left the group—was in the audience that day. Actress Jeong Ji-so, who had previously been active with Lee Bo-ram in the WSG Wannabe project group Gaya G, also attended to show her support. Kim Yong-jun of SG Wannabe and Lee Jin-sung of Monday Kids joined the stage as guests to lend their support to the performance.

C-Ya held their “The Fan” Seoul concert over two days, the 29th and 30th. They will continue their tour in cities including Busan, Daegu, Goyang, Cheongju, Suwon, and Incheon.
Toward the end of the concert, Lee Bo-ram said, “It’s nice to see the three of us together again, isn’t it?” and added, “Thank you for filling the seats of this large venue.” Kim Yeon-ji smiled and said, “It was an honor to have the best fans here,” adding, “From now on, please act as sales representatives for C-Ya Entertainment, spread the word about us, and continue to support us.” Nam Gyu-ri emphasized, “C-Ya’s activities will continue. We’ll be presenting performances with a diverse repertoire in the future,” she emphasized.
