According to distributor Sony Pictures, “Spider-Man 4” has recorded cumulative global box office revenue of approximately $2.3 billion, surpassing director James Cameron’s “Titanic” and “Nozar 2” to claim the fourth spot on the all-time global box office chart.
After surpassing $2 billion in cumulative global box office revenue just three weeks after its release, the film once again demonstrated its overwhelming box office power in its fifth week by surpassing the record set by “Titanic,” a film that has long stood as an iconic landmark in global box office history.
According to Box Office Mojo on the 26th, “Spider-Man 4” maintained the No. 1 spot at the North American box office for four consecutive weeks. Furthermore, by the weekend of its fourth week in theaters, it had grossed $854.9 million (1.1801 trillion won), surpassing its predecessor, “Spider-Man: No Way Home,” and securing a spot in the top three all-time North American box office rankings.
It is also enjoying a long-running box office success in South Korea. According to the Integrated Computerized Network for Movie Tickets, as of 6:40 a.m. on the 31st, “Spider-Man 4” had drawn a cumulative total of 8,548,404 viewers and is on the verge of surpassing the 9 million mark.
Previously, in its fourth week of release, the film not only set a new domestic box office record for the “Tom-Spidey” (Spider-Man starring Tom Holland) series but also broke the all-time domestic record for the “Spider-Man” franchise. Now, even a month after its release, it continues to draw audiences steadily, demonstrating its staying power and attracting significant attention.
As “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” continues its box office run toward 9 million viewers domestically—having already surpassed 8.54 million—while simultaneously setting a new milestone by ranking among the top four all-time global box office hits, all eyes are on what additional box office records it will break in the future.
“Spider-Man 4” is an action blockbuster in which Peter Parker—forgotten by everyone following the events of “Spider-Man: No Way Home”—is plunged into even deeper turmoil by the appearance of a mysterious enemy who remembers his true identity and by DNA mutations that grant him uncontrollable powers. He must confront new threats to protect those he loves. The film stars Tom Holland, Zendaya Coleman, and Sadie Sink.
