With a battery life of up to 25 hours and support for Galaxy AI features, the new model offers consumers a wider range of options than the existing Galaxy Book 6 series.
SamsungElectronics announced on the same day that the “New Galaxy Book 6” is available for purchase at Samsung Stores nationwide, on Samsung.com, and through online marketplaces. Prices range from 1.19 million to 1.49 million won, depending on specific specifications such as the central processing unit (CPU) and operating system. Equipped with the latest Intel Core 3 series processor, it delivers the performance needed for everyday tasks such as studying, homework, and work.
The battery allows for up to 25 hours of video playback on a single charge. It also supports fast charging, enabling up to 33% charge in just 30 minutes.
The display features a 16:10 aspect ratio and anti-glare technology to reduce glare. It weighs 1.35 kg. It is equipped with two USB-C ports, one USB-A port, an HDMI port, and headphone and microphone jacks.
It also supports Galaxy AI features. Using “AI Cutout,” you can remove unwanted backgrounds from images and translate sentences or paragraphs on web pages in real time.
It also offers features that integrate with Galaxy smartphones and tablets. Users can open files stored on their smartphone from their PC or transfer files between devices via drag-and-drop.
SamsungElectronics is running a trial program for Samsung.com customers through the 8th. Benefits totaling up to 180,000 won—including 100,000 Naver Pay points, plus rewards for writing reviews and in-store pickup—are available. The first 300 participants will also receive a 30,000-won Olive Young gift card.
A launch promotion will also continue through the 22nd. When using the “AI Subscription Club,” customers can take advantage of subscription fee discounts, upfront payment discounts, and partner card benefits, allowing them to use select models for as low as 8,990 won per month on a 4-year plan.
