[Edaily Reporter NA EUN-KYUNG ] #Graphy Inc. has partnered with Megagen Implant to supply Ray Co., Ltd.’s dental diagnostic equipment and Graphy Inc.’s dental materials and orthodontic appliances to the global market.

Graphy Inc. announced on the 1st that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Megagen Implant regarding strategic cooperation, product supply, and distribution. The two companies plan to finalize product-specific supply terms and country-specific sales plans before signing a formal three-party agreement among Graphy Inc., Ray Co., Ltd., and Megagen Implant later this month.

This collaboration combines Graphy Inc. and Ray Co., Ltd.(228670)’s existing overseas sales infrastructure with Megagen Implant’s network of overseas subsidiaries and distributors. Initially, Megagen Implant plans to supply digital diagnostic equipment—including Ray Co., Ltd.’s dental cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) device, the “R2 Studio Q,” as well as intraoral and facial scanners—to the global market.

The expansion of Graphy Inc.’s digital dentistry business—which the company is pursuing following its acquisition of Ray Co., Ltd.—is also expected to take shape through this collaboration. The structure involves first supplying Ray Co., Ltd.’s digital diagnostic equipment through Megagen Implant’s distribution network and then gradually expanding the product lineup to include Graphy Inc.’s products.

Among Graphy Inc.’s products, the company plans to prioritize the supply of aesthetic restorative materials for permanent teeth, which have already been developed. Subsequently, the scope of collaboration will expand to include white-label supply of “SMA” (Shape Memory Aligner), a direct-printing clear aligner that utilizes Graphy Inc.’s shape-memory material technology.

Accordingly, the product lineup will expand sequentially from Ray Co., Ltd.’s digital diagnostic equipment to Graphy Inc.’s aesthetic restorative materials and clear aligners. The strategy is to diversify product supply by adding not only one-time equipment sales but also materials and treatment solutions that generate recurring purchases to the distribution network.

The two companies are also discussing the inclusion of annual minimum purchase requirements in the main agreement, which they are working to finalize this month. Specific minimum purchase volumes and product-specific supply terms will be finalized through this main agreement.

Shim Un-seop, CEO of Graphy Inc., stated, “This agreement is part of the process of solidifying the global business expansion strategy we have been pursuing through the acquisition of Ray Co., Ltd.,” adding, “Starting with Ray Co., Ltd.’s digital diagnostic equipment, we will expand the scope of our collaboration to include Graphy Inc.’s prosthetic materials and SMA’s white-label products, thereby linking the business capabilities of the three companies.”
