[Edaily Reporter NA EUN-KYUNG ] Yuhan(000100)announced on the 1st that it has signed a contract with a global pharmaceutical company to supply active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) worth 131,074.41 million won. The contract amount represents 6.0% of the company’s projected consolidated revenue of 2.1866 trillion won for 2025.

The contract period runs from today through May 31, 2028. The identity of the contracting party was not disclosed at the company’s request to protect business confidentiality, and the supply region has not yet been determined.

The contract value is $95,424,000 (131,074,410,000 won), converted to won using the initial official exchange rate of 1,373.60 won per dollar announced on this date. The contract expiration date may be subject to change based on mutual agreement between the two companies.

Yuhan Corporation has been signing a series of active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) supply contracts with global pharmaceutical companies. Last May, it signed an API supply contract worth approximately 210.2 billion won with the global pharmaceutical company Gilead Sciences, and in the same month, it also signed an API supply contract worth approximately 56 billion won with the U.S.-based Bridge Biopharma for a cardiomyopathy treatment. With Gilead, the company has maintained a supply contract for active pharmaceutical ingredients—including those for human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) prevention and treatment drugs, as well as hepatitis C treatments—since 2024.
