[Edaily Reporter An Yu-ri ] NHN(181710)announced on the 2nd that NHN PlayArt, its Japanese mobile game subsidiary, will participate in “Tokyo Game Show (TGS) 2026” for the first time in eight years. TGS 2026 is Japan’s largest game exhibition, taking place from Thursday, the 17th, through the 21st of this month at Makuhari Messe in Chiba Prefecture, Japan.
NHN PlayArt, which has confirmed its participation for the first time in eight years since 2018, will set up a booth in Hall 2 at Makuhari Messe and plans to showcase a variety of content, including game demos, photo zones, and gacha (random item draws). Visitors to the event will be able to see, experience, and enjoy seven titles developed by NHN PlayArt, including upcoming new releases.
A total of three new titles will be introduced at TGS 2026. △The puzzle RPG “Sword Dance Puzzlegiri,” △the casual puzzle game “Puchi Poyong of the Fantasy World,” and △the card battle RPG “OVER RUSH” are all waiting for players. In addition, △“Dissidia Duelum Final Fantasy,” which has been steadily gaining popularity since its release last March, is also featured at the booth. In addition, three long-running titles will be on display, including △“Yokai Watch Puni Puni,” which has recorded 36 million downloads in Japan, and △“#Compass Battle Providence Analysis System,” which surpassed 20 million cumulative downloads in Japan in its 10th year since release.
Various events have also been prepared for booth visitors. During the five-day TGS 2026 event, limited-edition shoulder bags will be distributed daily on a first-come, first-served basis to visitors at the NHN PlayArt booth. Users who successfully complete missions at each title’s booth and collect stamps will receive a limited-edition card set. Stage events where developers and guests interact with the audience on-site are also planned.
Meanwhile, a special page (in Japanese) has been launched where visitors can view details about NHN PlayArt’s participation in TGS 2026. The special page will sequentially reveal the latest information regarding the event, including participating titles, booth details, stage events, giveaways, and campaigns.
