Speaking about Bata, she said, “He’s someone who has always been on my side, supported me, and taught me what it means to share happiness together.” She continued, “Until now, I’d always thought marriage was something far off in my life, but now I’ve found someone I want to spend the rest of my life with.”

Bata also announced his marriage on social media, writing, “I’d like to share some new news about my life with those who have shown me unwavering love and support,” and added, “I’ve met the person who is most precious to me, and we’re getting married.”
He went on to open up about his fiancée, Ji Ye-eun, saying, “She’s like a gift—someone who sees me for who I am and loves me just as I am,” and “I’m truly grateful to her for teaching me what love is, after a life spent knowing nothing but work.”
He stated, “From now on, we’ll rely on each other and live a sweet, loving life together,” adding, “I would be truly grateful if you could celebrate this with warm wishes. I’ll strive to give back as much as the support you’ve shown me.”
Ji Ye-eun and Bata will hold their wedding ceremony on December 12. Born in 1994, the couple—who are the same age—met as friends at church and grew close through shared interests and their faith, eventually becoming a couple. They confirmed their relationship last April. Since then, they have continued to go public with their relationship, with Ji Ye-eun mentioning her boyfriend Bata on variety shows and posting photos of them together on social media.
Last year, Bata also choreographed the new song “Milkshake” for the project group Chungju Ji’s, featuring Ji Ye-eun and Ji Seok-jin.
Ji Ye-eun made her debut in 2017 with the web drama “How To.” She subsequently gained fame through Coupang Play’s “SNL Korea” and has been active in shows such as SBS’s “Running Man.”
