[Edaily Starin KIM HYUNSIK Reporter] Singer Kim Gun-mo is set to embark on a nationwide concert tour to commemorate the 35th anniversary of his debut.

According to concert promoter iStar Media Company on the 3rd, Kim Gun-mo will kick off his “Kim Gun-mo: 35th Anniversary Live Tour” with the first performance on the 10th of next month at Hall 6 of the EXCO East Wing.
After kicking off the tour in Daegu, Kim Gun-mo will visit the Jeonju Korea Traditional Music Culture Center Outdoor Performance Hall (October 31), the Gwangju Women’s University Universiade Gymnasium (December 5), and Hall 9A of Exhibition Hall 2 at KINTEX in Goyang (December 26), among other venues. Additional cities on the tour will be announced in the future.
Kim Gun-mo suspended all activities in 2019 after being accused of sexual assault by a woman identified only as “Ms. A.” After being cleared of all charges, he resumed his activities last year with a nationwide tour and released his new single, “Where Am I Going?” last July.
The concert promoter stated, “Kim Gun-mo will share music that has grown as deep as the years that have passed with his long-time fans, who spent their youth listening to his songs on cassette tapes and CDs.”
He will also perform “Where Am I Going?”, a new song he recorded playing the acoustic guitar himself for the first time since his debut.
The concert promoter added, “Kim Gun-mo, who has long been known as a ‘singer who plays the piano,’ has been devoting himself to guitar practice for this tour to the point of developing calluses on his fingertips.”
Kim Gun-mo is also preparing a new album, scheduled for release next year. He plans to release preview tracks from the album this fall.
