[Edaily Reporter Kim Hyun-ah ] SKTelecom(017670)is expanding an online campaign that allows students taking the 2027 College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT) and their parents to send messages of encouragement to one another, 77 days before the exam.
SKTelecom announced that starting on the 3rd, it will launch the third phase of its “College Scholastic Ability Test Support Handbook” campaign for test-takers and their parents.
Following the launch of the “Start of Cheering” program on August 11—which utilized nostalgic pager codes 100 days before the exam—SKT has now prepared three new programs: “Cheering Special Lecture,” “The Art of Cheering,” and “Lucky Card Giveaway.” Participants can join via the campaign website regardless of their mobile carrier.
In the “Cheer Special Lecture,” parents can take a simple quiz to identify their cheering style and learn effective ways to support their children taking the exam. Quiz results can be shared with other parents via KakaoTalk, text message, or links.
In “The Art of Cheering,” parents can select a background of their choice and create their own cheering messages or videos to send to their children taking the exam. The finished content can be sent to their children via KakaoTalk, text message, or a link.
Students who receive a cheering message can participate in the “Random Lucky Gift Draw” for a chance to win one of several gifts, such as snacks and drinks. Gifts will be provided to the first 50,000 participants on a first-come, first-served basis.
Programs for students taking the exam have also been prepared. In “Get a Lucky Card,” students can create a personalized lucky card based on their date of birth by entering simple information. They can save the card—which features their chosen design and a message of good luck—or share it with friends.
By posting the lucky card on Instagram, Threads, X (formerly Twitter), and other platforms, students can also participate in the “Lucky Gift Package” event. Entries are accepted until the 30th, and winners selected via a random drawing will receive physical keychains and lucky items made using the lucky cards they created themselves.
“The Art of Cheering” and “Lucky Card Giveaway” are open to students born between 2006 and 2008.
SKT also plans to provide “T Direct Shop gift certificates” to participating students after the exam. Additionally, the KTCorporation will send encouraging text messages to customers who signed up for the campaign 30 days, 7 days, and one day before the exam. These messages will consist solely of words of encouragement for students and their families, with no advertisements.
Starting on the day of the exam, separate benefits for test-takers will also be unveiled sequentially.
Yoon Jae-woong, Head of the Product & Brand Division at SKTelecom, said, “With 77 days left until the CSAT, this is a time when not only the students but also their families, who have been with them throughout this long journey, need warm encouragement,” adding, “We have prepared various programs and benefits so that students and parents can naturally share their feelings with one another.”
