[Edaily Starin Choi Hee-jae Reporter] Actor Kwak Si-yang and former Lovelyz member Yoo Ji-ae announced their surprise marriage without any prior dating rumors.

Kwak Si-yang’s agency, 9Ato Entertainment, announced in an official statement on the 3rd, “Kwak Si-yang is scheduled to marry singer and actress Yoo Ji-ae this coming November.”
They added, “The couple has pledged their future to one another based on deep trust and love.”
Yoo Ji-ae’s agency, YG K Plus, also announced, “Yoo Ji-ae is marrying actor Kwak Si-yang,” adding, “Having nurtured their love for one another over the course of about a year, they have promised to build a future together.”
Kwak Si-yang was born in 1987, and Yoo Ji-ae in 1993, making them six years apart in age. The couple, who are said to have been dating for about a year, will hold a private wedding ceremony this November, inviting family, relatives, and close friends. Although the date has been reported as November 28, the agency stated, “We ask for your understanding as we are unable to disclose specific details out of respect for the wishes of both families.”
They added, “We ask that you warmly support the couple as they embark on this new chapter in their lives, and we ask for your blessings and encouragement.”
Kwak Si-yang made his debut in 2014 with the film *Night Flight*. Since then, he has appeared in the films *Goodbye Single*, *Witness*, *Jangsari: Forgotten Heroes,” and “Samakdo,” as well as the TV dramas “Oh My Ghost,” “Alice,” “Hong Cheon-gi,” “Chaebol X Detective,” “That Guy Is a Black Dragon,” and “Divorce Insurance.” He will also appear in the KBS2 Saturday-Sunday drama “A Romance Other Than You,” which premieres on the 12th.
Yoo Ji-ae debuted in 2014 as a member of the group Lovelyz. She later transitioned to acting and has appeared in dramas such as “The Third Marriage” and “The Man Who Has Nothing.”
