LGELECTRONICS announced that it has won the “IFA 2026 Best Brand” award, the highest honor at the IFA Innovation Awards. Seven products, including the “LG Signature OLED W” and “LG Sound Suite AI,” were also named among the winners of Best of Category and Excellence Awards.

“Best Brand” is the top brand award of the IFA Innovation Awards, which was newly established last year. It is awarded based on an evaluation of overall brand competitiveness, including technological innovation, market influence, and design.

The IFA Innovation Awards select outstanding brands and products in each category based on a comprehensive evaluation of innovation, technological capability, design, and market influence. The top honors are divided into three categories: Best Brand, Best of IFA, and Best Tech Innovation.

The next-generation Wallpaper TV, the “LG Signature OLED W (W6),” received the top award in the Home Entertainment category. This product features “Hyper Radiant Color,” which incorporates the picture quality technology LGELECTRONICS has accumulated while maintaining its position as the world’s No. 1 in the OLED TV market for 13 consecutive years.

It also features an ultra-slim design that is just 9 mm thick—about the thickness of a pencil—and fits flush against the wall. The TV is equipped with wireless transmission technology that minimizes the number of cables connecting the screen to external devices.

LGELECTRONICS explained that its wireless transmission technology—the world’s first to receive low-latency certification—reduces signal delay while reliably delivering high-quality video and audio. The company was recognized for offering a new premium viewing experience that seamlessly integrates the TV into the interior space by combining an ultra-slim design with wireless technology.

The home audio system “LG Sound Suite AI” was selected as the Best of Category winner in the audio category. It supports “Dolby Atmos FlexConnect,” which automatically detects the positions of speakers placed throughout a room to deliver optimal surround sound.

Unlike traditional home audio systems, there is no need to install speakers in fixed positions; instead, the system automatically adjusts the sound based on the user’s living environment and speaker placement. This reduces installation constraints while providing a personalized, immersive audio experience.

In addition, the 2026 ‘LG Corp. OLED Evo AI (G6)’, featuring the highest brightness ever, accurate color reproduction, and ultra-low-reflection technology, received the Excellence Award.

The next-generation premium liquid crystal display (LCD) TVs, the ‘LG Micro RGB TV (LG MRGB96)’ and the ‘LG Mini RGB TV (LG MRGB88)’, also made the list of award winners. This recognition affirms LG’s display technology expertise not only in OLED but also in its premium LCD product lineup.

The lifestyle portable screen “LG StandbyMe 2 Max” and the party-ready Bluetooth speaker “LG Xboom Stage 501” also received Excellence Awards.

LGELECTRONICS explained that, following the Best Brand Award, a total of seven products—including OLED TVs, premium LCD TVs, lifestyle screens, and home and portable audio devices—received awards, demonstrating the company’s product competitiveness across the entire spectrum of displays and audio.
