[E-Daily Reporter Kwon Oh Seok ] The stock price of #Acryl Inc., an artificial intelligence (AI) company, is surging. It appears that buying interest is surging following news that the company is accelerating its “Cancer AX Platform” business after securing a series of national medical AI R&D and demonstration projects in the fields of brain tumors, pancreatic cancer, and lung cancer. In a press release issued today, Acryl Inc. announced that it is participating in multimodal AI research and development and clinical validation projects in the field of cancer alongside major domestic medical institutions, including Seoul National University Hospital, Seoul National University Bundang Hospital, and Korea University Anam Hospital. The core objective of this project is to use AI to integrate multimodal medical data—such as medical imaging, pathology, genomics, laboratory tests, and clinical records—which is currently dispersed across hospitals, and to establish a full-cycle medical AI system that supports the entire cancer care journey, from screening to diagnosis, treatment, prognosis, and recurrence management. Through this initiative, Acryl Inc. plans to progressively develop a cancer-specific foundation model, software-as-a-medical-device (SaMD) for early diagnosis and recurrence prediction, and Agentic AI to support medical professionals’ decision-making and patient management. Acryl Inc.’s strategy is to integrate the AI technologies developed across each business into a single “Cancer AX Platform.” Based on the medical data platform “NADIA-ANE” and the healthcare-specific AI “ALLM.H,” the system connects medical data—including EMR, laboratory tests, imaging, pathology, and genomics—and combines specialized AI models for each cancer type with AI agents to provide the necessary services to healthcare professionals and patients.
