This recognition highlights the technological prowess and design excellence of its AI-based innovative products. The Innovation Awards are a global awards program newly established by IFA Berlin in 2025.
The “Bespoke AI Wind-Free Combo Pro Wall-Mounted” air conditioner won both the Top Innovation Award in the Design category and an Innovation Award in the Home Appliances category. The design, which reinterprets the air conditioner as an interior object that harmonizes naturally with the space—beyond that of a purely functional appliance—received high praise. SamsungElectronics designed the front of the product to be flat and strategically placed ultra-precise microholes—the core of the Wind-Free feature—at the bottom of the unit to provide visual stability.
The “AI Motion Air” feature built into the air conditioner uses a motion radar sensor to detect the user’s location and movement, providing a total of seven customized airflow patterns and highly efficient cooling. It also supports the “Wearable Good Sleep” feature, which syncs with the Galaxy Watch to adjust cooling operations based on actual sleep patterns.

SamsungElectronics implemented an intuitive interface via a large 32-inch screen mounted on the front of the product. It provides personalized content—such as schedules, photos, and health information—through voice recognition and personalized recommendations. Convenience has also been enhanced with the “Auto Door” feature, which allows users to open and close the door with their voice.
In particular, it enhanced food recognition capabilities by combining “AI Vision”—which uses an internal camera to track the entry and removal of ingredients in real time—with Google Gemini. The “AI Food Manager” suggests recipes tailored to the ingredients on hand and provides reports analyzing refrigerator usage patterns.
The “Bespoke AI HYBE 4-Door KitchenFit Max” refrigerator received the Innovation Award in the home appliance category. The doors can open fully with just 4 mm of clearance on either side. It achieves a harmonious fit without the need for separate cabinetry installation, and by optimizing the thickness of the door insulation, it has expanded internal storage space while maintaining the external dimensions.
It also features “AI Hybrid Cooling” technology, which operates efficiently based on usage patterns. Under normal conditions, the compressor operates alone to provide cooling; however, when the door is opened and closed frequently or when storing large quantities of food, a Peltier semiconductor element is activated simultaneously to deliver optimal cooling performance and energy efficiency.
SamsungElectronics will operate an exhibition booth under the theme “Your AI Companion for Everyday Life” at the Humboldt Carre in Berlin, Germany, where IFA 2026 will be held from the 2nd to the 6th.
