[E-Daily Reporter Kang Min-koo ] Business data platform company coocon Corporation(294570)has completed the Credit Recovery Committee’s “Financial MyData Implementation Project.” Through this project, the company has established an environment for utilizing financial MyData at counseling counters in the committee’s 52 branches nationwide.

This project marks the first instance of applying financial MyData to the public sector. The Credit Recovery Commission can now provide MyData services through both online and in-person channels, enabling even those who are digitally financially vulnerable to conveniently access their own financial information at counseling counters.

As the lead contractor for this project, coocon Corporation implemented its “MyData All-in-One” solution to establish an in-person MyData system that covers the entire process—from identity verification to requesting and retrieving financial information. This solution provides an integrated set of features necessary for operating MyData services, including data integration with approximately 450 institutions—such as financial institutions and big tech companies—as well as MyData collection APIs, integrated management of identity verification and personal credit information transfer request APIs, and usage status monitoring.

Customers visiting the Credit Recovery Committee can reduce the burden of submitting complex supporting documents and view financial information scattered across multiple financial institutions all at once at the consultation counter. Counselors can also provide faster and more accurate debt adjustment counseling and reviews based on the financial information the customer has consented to share.

The scope of financial MyData usage is expanding from primarily non-face-to-face channels to face-to-face channels. Following the Financial Services Commission’s announcement of the “MyData 2.0 Implementation Plan” in 2024 and the subsequent expansion of service channels to include bank branches in November 2025, demand for financial MyData is expected to grow, particularly among public institutions that support low-income and vulnerable groups through in-person consultations.

coocon Corporation plans to address this demand by leveraging the MyData implementation capabilities it has accumulated in the financial sector, combined with its experience from this application in the public sector.

Kim Jong-hyun, CEO of coocon Corporation, stated, “Based on the data integration capabilities and MyData business expertise we have accumulated in the financial and public sectors, coocon Corporation will contribute to bridging the information gap for financially vulnerable groups and improving financial accessibility.” He added, “Furthermore, we will expand our MyData business into non-financial sectors such as telecommunications, healthcare, energy, education, and employment to solidify our leading position, and we will take the lead in creating an ecosystem that connects various industries and services through data.”
