Photo: Social MediaOn the 6th, Lee Sang-soon posted on his socialmedia, “Many of you have been worried because I haven’t been able to host my radio show for several days. I apologize to my listeners for taking a break from the show without any prior explanation.” He explained, “Last Wednesday, I suddenly felt unwell and was unable to host the radio show. Since then, I’ve undergone various tests and consultations. Although I’m still awaiting more detailed test results, following the medical team’s recommendation that I need rest due to a neurological condition called ‘vagus nerve dysfunction,’ I’m reluctantly taking a break from the radio to rest.” He continued, “I’ve been told that if I get plenty of rest, I’ll gradually recover, so I’ll take this opportunity to take my time and fully restore my health before returning.” He added, “Many of you have been worried about me, but since I didn’t know when I’d recover, I kept thinking, ‘If I’m okay tomorrow, I’ll host again—I really should,’ which is why this post is so late.” He added, “I’ll use this opportunity to thoroughly check my overall physical condition and fully recover so I can return to you all in good health,” and said, “Please don’t worry too much—I’ll be resting and recovering well, so please wait just a little longer. I’ll see you all again soon in good shape.” Earlier, on the 26th of last month, during the MBC Radio FM4U show “A Perfect Day with Lee Sang-soon,” regular guest Thomas Cook began the broadcast in Lee Sang-soon’s place, stating, “Soondi is running a bit late due to feeling under the weather.” Lee Sang-soon appeared 10 minutes before the broadcast ended and apologized, saying, “I was actually at MBC, but I wasn’t feeling well, so I was lying down in the infirmary,” and added, “I’m sure you were surprised that I didn’t show up suddenly.” However, starting the next day, Lee Sang-soon took a break, and as the hiatus dragged on without any further explanation, various speculations began to circulate among listeners. Eventually, Lee Sang-soon addressed the situation himself by directly mentioning his health issues. Meanwhile, Lee Sang-soon married Lee Hyo-ri in 2013.
