[Edaily Starin, Reporter YUN GI BACK ] Singer Lim Young-woong is setting a new milestone with his special digital album “IM HERO 10,” which encapsulates his 10-year career. This release is particularly significant because it goes beyond simply adding new songs; it reimagines his past hits with a contemporary sensibility, bringing together the past decade and his future direction within a single work.

According to his agency, Fish Music, on the 8th, “IM HERO 10”—set to be released at 6 p.m. that day—will feature a total of 10 tracks, including the title track “Tto Tto.” Six of the tracks—“Tto Tto,” “Moses,” “Baila,” “Please Be Happy,” “To Us Who Have Lived,” and “New York”—are new songs, and Lim Young-woong personally participated in both the lyrics and composition, further establishing his presence as a creator.
Another notable aspect of this album is the connection between the past and the present. His classic hits—including his debut song “I Hate You,” as well as “Love Always Runs Away,” “Grains of Sand,” and “A Bientot”—have been reborn in new versions. Rather than simply reissuing familiar songs, these tracks are reinterpreted through the lens of 10 years of experience and his evolving musical sensibilities, making the symbolic significance of his 10th debut anniversary even more pronounced.
The title track “Tto Tto” stands at the heart of this project. The music video, released on the 7th ahead of the digital release, features Lim Young-woong alongside his dog Si-wol and child actor Kim Jun, adding a warm, heartfelt touch. Even within the grand scale of this major project, it maintains a relatable narrative and emotional depth, highlighting Lim Young-woong’s signature broad appeal.
It is also significant that the new songs were first unveiled at the 2026 concert “IM HERO – THE STADIUM 2.” By premiering the new songs live at the venue before releasing them officially, this album has expanded beyond a mere digital release into a large-scale project where concerts, videos, and fan experiences are organically interconnected.
Ultimately, “IM HERO 10” is a work that simultaneously showcases “the past 10 years” and “the future ahead” through six new songs and four reinterpreted signature tracks. By bringing together his achievements as a singer, his growth as a creator, and the narrative built with his fans, it transforms his 10th anniversary since debut into not just a commemorative milestone, but a new starting point.
Lim Young-woong will continue his stage activities even after the album’s release. He is scheduled to attend the “2026 The Fact Music Awards,” to be held on the 19th at the Busan Asiad Main Stadium, where he plans to keep the momentum of his new album going.
