We will continue to do our utmost to protect the rights and interests of our artists.” Previously, Lee Soo-ji released a mock documentary titled “Civil Servant Kim Ji-young Defends Her Iron Rice Bowl” on the YouTube channel “Hot Issue Ji.” In the video, Lee Soo-ji appeared as Kim Ji-young, a first-year civil servant, and portrayed her struggling with malicious complaints. However, she faced criticism and became embroiled in controversy for portraying protesters demanding a re-election following the ballot paper shortage during the nationwide local elections as “malicious complainants” and trivializing the issue. Although the production team deleted the scene in question, the controversy did not subside; as it continued to escalate, Lee Soo-ji issued a personal apology. After suspending her YouTube activities, Lee Soo-ji recently resumed posting new content for the first time in about a month.
