According to the Financial Supervisory Service’s electronic disclosure system on the 8th, SemiFive Inc. has signed a contract with HyperExcel for the “supply of AI inference accelerator chips for data centers.” At HyperExcel’s request, the contract amount will remain undisclosed until June 15, 2028.

The contract period runs from September 8, 2026, to June 15, 2028. However, the contract period may be subject to change during the product supply process; should any changes occur, a corrective disclosure will be made in accordance with relevant regulations.

The value of this contract has not been disclosed. SemiFive Inc. stated that it did not disclose the contract amount in accordance with a request from HyperExcel, the contracting party, to maintain trade secrets. Consequently, it is not possible to determine the scale of the contract relative to SemiFive Inc.’s revenue of 120,952,060,000 won last year.

Payment will be received in installments according to the product supply schedule. Under the terms of the contract, a 10% down payment will be invoiced upon signing, a 60% interim payment will be invoiced upon completion of the first product delivery, and the remaining 30% will be invoiced upon completion of the entire product supply.

This contract is particularly noteworthy because it involves inference semiconductors required to run AI models in actual service environments. It is a contract that extends beyond AI training to include the supply of semiconductor products that handle computations during the operation of AI services in data centers.
