Pyung Hwa Industrial Co., Ltd. Selected as Participating Company for Daegu National Science Museum’s “Driving the Future” Exhibition… “To Showcase Automotive Parts and Technologies”
[Edaily Reporter Park Jung-Soo ] Pyeonghwa Industrial Co., Ltd. ( Pyung Hwa Industrial Co., Ltd.(090080)), a company specializing in automotive parts, has been selected as an exhibiting company for the 7th Special Exhibition on the History of Industrial Science and Technology, “Driving the Future,” being held at the Daegu National Science Museum. Pyung Hwa Industrial Co., Ltd. announced on the 8th that it will showcase major automotive parts as well as prototypes related to future industries, such as robotics and artificial intelligence (AI), at this special exhibition. This special exhibition was organized to highlight the companies and technologies that have led the Daegu region’s automotive industry. Every year, local automotive-related companies are selected to introduce their key products and technologies, and this year, Pyung Hwa Industrial Co., Ltd. is participating as an exhibitor. The exhibition opens at 2:00 p.m. today and will run for approximately 139 days. In Zone 4 of the exhibition, Pyung Hwa Industrial Co., Ltd. will unveil engine mounts, an air suspension system—the first of its kind developed in Korea and recipient of the Jang Young-sil Award—and prototypes related to the AI transformation of the robotics industry. The company will also highlight its technological development trajectory, which is expanding from traditional automotive parts into future industries such as robotics and AI. “Driving the Future” is organized around themes such as the automotive industry, engine science, Daegu’s core industries, and the people who built automobiles. It highlights the development of the domestic automotive industry through exhibits such as the “Pony 2”—which continues the lineage of Korea’s first indigenous model—the “Alpha Engine,” the country’s first independently developed automotive engine, and materials related to Daegu’s automotive parts industry. The exhibition also introduces future automotive technologies such as electrification, AI, and autonomous driving, allowing visitors to trace the technological evolution from the early days of the automotive industry to the future mobility sector. A representative of Pyung Hwa Industrial Co., Ltd. stated, “This special exhibition provides an opportunity to showcase not only the automotive parts technology Pyung Hwa Industrial Co., Ltd. has accumulated but also our technological capabilities as we expand into future industries such as robotics and AI,” adding, “We expect it to contribute to raising awareness of the development process and future growth potential of the Daegu region’s automotive parts industry.”
