Distributor Walt Disney Company Korea has unveiled four posters featuring different special screening formats for the movie “Avengers: Endgame Encore,” which reopens on the 23rd.
“Avengers: Endgame” depicts the final battle in which the Avengers stake everything to save the world’s fate amid a dire crisis where only half of humanity survived following the finger snap of the MCU’s greatest villain, Thanos. Released in 2019, “Avengers: Endgame” ranks as the second-highest-grossing film of all time globally and the highest-grossing foreign film of all time in South Korea.
The 4DX poster captures attention with its striking visuals, featuring “Iron Man’s” solemn expression as he prepares for the finger snap that will determine Earth’s fate, alongside key Avengers members such as “Captain America,” “Thor,” “Hawkeye,” and “Black Widow.” The 4DX format, which allows viewers to fully immerse themselves in the film’s non-stop action through motion chairs and various environmental effects, is expected to deliver a thrilling viewing experience that makes it feel as though you’ve stepped right into the middle of the battlefield.

The Dolby Cinema poster captures the moment just before the gauntlet, embedded with the six Infinity Stones, unleashes its immense power, drawing the viewer’s attention. In particular, the vividly glowing Infinity Stones highlight the strengths of Dolby Vision, which delivers crisp colors and deep contrast. Furthermore, Dolby Cinema is expected to provide an even richer viewing experience that captivates both the eyes and ears through Dolby Atmos, with its immersive, three-dimensional sound that fills the entire space.

The ScreenX poster heightens the tension by capturing the Avengers’ dynamic poses and “Thanos,” whose mere presence exudes an intimidating aura, all in a single frame. Against this black-and-white backdrop, the Infinity Stones alone shine in vibrant colors, adding a striking visual impact. The ScreenX format, which expands the field of view to include the left and right screens, is set to capture the overwhelming scale of ‘Avengers: Endgame’ even more comprehensively and deliver a unique visual experience.

Finally, the IMAX poster captures the majestic sight of a massive army gathered for the final showdown with “Thanos,” showcasing an extreme sense of scale. The army of heroes filling the vast landscape, combined with IMAX’s wider aspect ratio and massive screen, promises an even more intense sense of immersion.
“Avengers: Endgame Encore” opens in theaters on the 23rd. “Avengers: Doomsday” is set to open this December.
