PAMTEK CO., LTD. is participating in the “KPCA SHOW 2026,” held from the 9th to the 11th at Songdo Convensia in Incheon, where it is showcasing a glass substrate handling robot and system for panel-level packaging (PLP) and a portable Peltier system.
The glass substrate handling robot and system for PLP is automated equipment designed to reliably transport large-area glass substrates between processes and handle them with precision. It supports substrate transfer, position and orientation control, and inter-process coordination, and can be configured as an automated system tailored to the customer’s specific process.
As semiconductor packaging technology advances and interest in panel-level packaging—which utilizes large-area substrates on a panel basis—grows, PAMTEK CO., LTD. plans to expand into the glass substrate handling sector as a new growth area, building on its existing inspection and automation technologies.
At this exhibition, the company also officially launched its “Portable Peltier System.” This system utilizes Peltier devices to create a mobile temperature environment required for high-temperature and low-temperature (hot/cold) testing of semiconductors and electronic components, and can be used for everything from standalone testing during the development and evaluation stages to mass production processes.
At the mass production stage, the system can be customized to integrate into continuous automated lines according to the customer’s specific processes and test conditions. Based on this, PAMTEK CO., LTD. plans to expand the scope of application for its Peltier-based temperature control technology, ranging from individual component evaluation during the development phase to inspection on mass production lines.
A PAMTEK CO., LTD. representative stated, “Through KPCA SHOW 2026, we are directly introducing our glass substrate handling equipment for PLP and our Peltier-based temperature control system to our customers,” adding, “Based on the customer needs identified at the exhibition, we plan to expand actual process applications and joint development to continuously strengthen our semiconductor equipment portfolio.”
