[Edaily Starin KIM HYUNSIK Reporter] SM Entertainment (SM) announced on the 14th that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the fashion and beauty platform Musinsa to strengthen marketing cooperation. (Photo courtesy of SM Entertainment)The signing ceremony, held that day at SM’s headquarters in Seongsu-dong, Seoul, was attended by approximately 10 representatives from both companies, including Tak Young-jun, Co-CEO of SM, and Choi Jae-young, CCO (Chief Commerce Officer) of Musinsa. Under this agreement, SM will provide artist intellectual property (IP), and Musinsa will provide online and offline media support. The two companies will also collaborate on content development and expanding into key global markets. Previously, SM and Musinsa collaborated on new product campaigns and pop-up stores to celebrate the release of new albums by the girl group Hearts to Hearts and the boy group NCT 127. Tak Young-joon, co-CEO of SM, stated, “We will pursue branding collaborations with Musinsa across various areas—including album pop-ups, content, music releases, and media—to provide new IP experiences.”
