[Edaily Starin KIM HYUNSIK Reporter] Boy band Stray Kids took the stage at the Brazilian music festival "Rock in Rio" and performed in front of an audience of 100,000.

According to their agency, JYP Entertainment (JYP), on the 14th, Stray Kids performed at “Rock in Rio,” held on the 11th (all times local) at the Olympic Park in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
“Rock in Rio” is a large-scale music festival that has been running since 1985. This year’s lineup featured world-renowned musicians such as Calvin Harris, Black Eyed Peas, Maroon 5, and Elton John.
Stray Kids became the first K-pop artist to headline “Rock in Rio.” For the first time since the festival’s inception, the “Rock in Rio” organizers allowed fans to bring in light sticks.
Stray Kids closed out the main stage, “PALCO MUNDO,” with performances of “TOPLINE,” “Tteuk,” “Bounce Back,” “MANIAC,” “Sori-kkun,” and “This & That.” According to JYP, the audience at “PALCO MUNDO” numbered approximately 100,000 during the headliner performance.

On the same day, Hwasa—a member of the girl group Mamamoo—and JYP’s rookie boy group NEXZ also took the “PALCO MUNDO” stage. NEXZ opened the show on that stage, while Hwasa received a warm response with her signature high-energy performance of songs such as “I Love My Body” and “Fool.”
