Sold out again, more shows added… Bruno Mars’ South Korea concert series expanded to six shows
One Additional Show Added Due to Strong Advance Ticket Sales
General Ticket Sales Open; Another Round of Expansion
Tickets for the 6th Performance Go on Sale on the 16th
[Edaily Starin YUN GI BACK Reporter] Pop star Bruno Mars has added yet another concert to his South Korea tour. Originally scheduled for four shows, the tour was expanded to five due to strong pre-sale demand, and with tickets selling rapidly during the general sale, it has now been expanded to a total of six shows. (Photo courtesy of Live Nation Korea) According to concert promoter Live Nation Korea, Bruno Mars will take the stage at Goyang Sports Complex on May 30, in addition to the previously scheduled dates of May 21–22, 25–26, and 29 next year. Tickets for the newly added May 30 show will go on sale at noon on the 16th via the official ticketing site, NOL. This decision to add shows comes in response to continued high ticket demand from Korean fans. After most tickets for the originally scheduled four shows sold out during the artist pre-sale and Live Nation pre-sale on the 11th, a show on the 29th was added. Subsequently, as tickets for the additional shows sold out quickly during the general sale on the 14th, another day was added to the schedule. As a result, Bruno Mars will be performing six shows at Goyang Sports Complex during his first visit to Korea in about four years. Following the sell-out of his two shows at the Jamsil Sports Complex Main Stadium in 2023, this once again demonstrates his strong ticket-selling power in Korea. This concert will center on “The Romantic,” Bruno Mars’ fourth solo studio album, released after a 10-year hiatus. His world tour, which began last April, has seen sold-out shows and additional performances in major cities across North America and Europe. Anderson .Paak will join the concert as a special guest, performing as DJ Pee Wee. Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak have previously collaborated as the duo Silk Sonic. The concerts in South Korea will take place at 7:45 p.m. on May 21, 22, 25, 26, 29, and 30 next year at the Goyang Sports Complex. Attention is also focused on whether Rosé—who released the global megahit “Apartment” with Bruno Mars—will make an appearance.
