Its cumulative attendance stands at 10,834,339, with the 11-million mark in sight. In second place, “Obsession” drew 25,689 viewers, surpassing the 500,000 cumulative attendance mark. “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” took third place, attracting 8,414 viewers. Its cumulative attendance stands at 8,938,826. “The Drama” took fourth place (4,409 viewers), and “Hope” took fifth (3,886 viewers). “Odyssey” also continues to hold the top spot in advance ticket sales. As of 8:15 a.m. on the 15th, “Odyssey” had sold 123,165 tickets. Ranks 2 through 5 were filled by Korean films set to premiere soon. Second place went to “The Assassin(s)” (74,745 tickets), third to “The Intern” (70,257 tickets), fourth to “Tazza: The Song of Beelzebub” (50,882 tickets), and fifth to “The Resurrected Man: The Red” (19,164 tickets). With the Chuseok holiday approaching and Korean films dominating the top ranks of advance ticket sales, all eyes are on whether this will lead to changes in the box office landscape.
