GASTECH is an international event that brings together professionals from the global energy industry, covering areas such as LNG, hydrogen, low-carbon solutions, and energy infrastructure. HankukCarbon was represented by CEO Cho Yeon-ho and other executives and employees.
At the event, held from the 14th to the 16th at BITEC (Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre) in Bangkok, HankukCarbon held meetings with approximately 10 global shipowners. The company continued business discussions with key partners, shipowners, and charterers to gain insights into the latest trends in the liquefied natural gas (LNG) vessel market and the eco-friendly energy industry, as well as customer demand.
In particular, the company strengthened ties with key partners, including GTT—a technology firm specializing in LNG cargo tank systems—as well as HD HYUNDAI HEAVY INDUSTRIES, SamsungHeavyIndustries, and Hanwha Ocean. The company plans to expand its global collaborations by leveraging its accumulated technological expertise and production competitiveness in the field of cryogenic insulation materials for LNG carriers.
Through this event, HankukCarbon plans to closely assess the changing energy market environment and customer needs, and to continue discussions on future collaboration opportunities. The company plans to strengthen cooperation with key partners while simultaneously exploring new business opportunities in the cryogenic insulation materials sector.
A HankukCarbon official stated, “Attending Gastech this year served as an opportunity to further solidify our foundation for cooperation with global customers and partners,” adding, “We will continue to enhance our competitiveness in the field of LNG ship insulation materials and actively expand business opportunities in the global market.”
