At midnight on the 16th, LIGHTSUM released “Doshite” (どうして), the title track of their Japanese debut album “Re:idol,” on various online music platforms in Korea and abroad.
“Doshite” is a song centered on the excitement and anxiety of a one-sided crush. It expresses the feeling of being swayed by the words and actions of someone you like through lively lyrics and a catchy melody.
LightSome is a group launched by Cube Entertainment in June 2021. This marks their first official debut activities in Japan.
The group has been sharing their preparations for their Japanese debut through an ABEMA original documentary. The documentary consists of six episodes, with the final episode set to air on the 20th.
Their debut album will be released on the 23rd. LightSome plans to build anticipation for their debut by pre-releasing the title track before launching into full-scale promotional activities. The album features four new songs, including “Dosite,” as well as a “Kawaii” (カワイイ·cute) version of “POSE!,” which was first released in 2024.
