[Edaily Reporter Shin Yeong-bin ] Yuilrobotics. co., Ltd(388720)is expanding its business scope with a “dark factory” solution that combines artificial intelligence (AI) with industrial robots and production and logistics systems, enabling operations without the need for on-site personnel.

Yuilrobotics. co., Ltd. announced on the 16th that it is expanding its “dark factory” solutions—designed for autonomous and unmanned manufacturing environments—based on its existing smart factory platform, “Link Factory.”

Link Factory consists of a Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system, a Manufacturing Execution System (MES), a robot control system, a Quality Management System (QMS), a Warehouse Management System (WMS), the digital twin platform “Link Metaverse,” and the AI-based predictive maintenance system “Link AI.”

Yuilrobotics. co., Ltd plans to advance these systems into an autonomous manufacturing platform by integrating the data generated from them with AI, enabling factories to independently recognize and assess situations before controlling robots and equipment.

The company is also expanding its related business operations. It recently completed the “K-Smart Lighthouse Factory Upgrading Project,” a four-year initiative that ran through May 2026 and focused on the injection molding and assembly processes at Sambo A&T, an automotive parts manufacturer.

Since last June, the company has been working on an automation project for a new factory owned by a manufacturer of small electric motors for vehicles. The contract value, including logistics automation and value-added tax, totals approximately 5.7 billion won, with completion targeted for March of next year. Recently, the company also secured a contract to implement a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) for a domestic company, C.

The company is also expanding its overseas operations. In line with domestic Company J’s entry into the U.S. market, it has secured a contract to build a smart factory for the company’s local subsidiary, applying the manufacturing automation technology it has accumulated in Korea to overseas sites.

Going forward, Yuilrobotics. co., Ltd plans to integrate robots, AI, and communication technologies into its smart factory systems to establish a framework where production equipment and logistics robots exchange data in real time and autonomously adjust operations based on AI-driven decisions.

A representative from Yuilrobotics. co., Ltd stated, “The manufacturing paradigm is shifting from smart factories to ‘dark factories,’ which involve autonomous and unmanned manufacturing,” adding, “While expanding our current smart factory business, we will evolve it into an autonomous manufacturing platform that integrates robots, AI, and communications.”
