With the recent rise in remote and on-site work, there is growing demand for an environment that allows secure access to corporate networks even while working off-site or on business trips. KTCorporation’s “5G Business Network” is a dedicated wireless service for enterprises that connects a company’s internal network to KTCorporation’s wireless network via a closed network based on a dedicated line. By connecting a 5G Business Network-dedicated device (Egg) to a laptop, users can access the highly secure internal network from anywhere.
The newly introduced “5G Business Network Rental Egg” is designed to reduce the costs and manpower required for device procurement and operational management. Businesses and public institutions can rent the devices in the quantities they need without owning them, thereby alleviating the hassle associated with asset management, inventory tracking, and status checks.
Management convenience has also been enhanced. KTCorporation provides comprehensive support throughout the entire process—from service activation to device operation and troubleshooting. Even in the event of a device malfunction or failure, KTCorporation fully handles the resolution process, allowing client companies to reduce the administrative burden of maintenance and focus on their core business.
Cost processing procedures have also been streamlined. Since device usage fees are billed together with 5G corporate network line charges, client companies are expected to significantly streamline their accounting management processes—from budget planning to execution and settlement.
KTCorporation is also continuing to advance its dedicated network infrastructure for 5G corporate network customers. A prime example is the “5G Corporate Network Hub Model,” which enables regional-level organizations and their subordinate units to jointly utilize a single infrastructure. Going forward, KTCorporation plans to expand the application of customized technologies—such as App Slicing based on 5G Standalone (SA) mode—to enhance operational efficiency and security across various industries.
Jeon Myung-jun, Executive Vice President and Head of the Enterprise Services Division at KTCorporation’s Enterprise Division, stated, “The 5G Enterprise Network Lease-AG is a product designed to allow customers to adopt the service without the initial burden of purchasing devices and to reduce repetitive management tasks, such as handling device malfunctions and settling bills.” He added, “We will continue to provide a secure and stable network environment and efficient operational services so that customers can focus on their core business.”
