Alok is a key subsidiary of PAKERS CO., Ltd.’s K-Beauty platform business, which the company is expanding based on its existing LED core technology. Building on “Skinmax”—a product that combines DEVICES and cosmetics—the company is expanding its global business, focusing on markets with high demand for K-Beauty, such as the U.S., Japan, and Southeast Asia.

Last July, Alok held local launch events for Skinmax in New York and Los Angeles (LA). The company showcased its products to beauty industry professionals—including local influencers, dermatologists, and aesthetic specialists—as well as customers. The company explained that it received positive feedback from customers regarding the product’s ease of use and functionality.

Global distributors have proactively proposed partnerships for product placement and sales, and supply discussions are currently underway. Alok expects to achieve tangible results in the global market based on these developments.

The global distribution network will be built using a “two-track” strategy that simultaneously expands both online and offline channels. Online, the company plans to broaden consumer reach primarily through global e-commerce platforms, while offline, it intends to pursue partnerships with major national distribution networks and local sales channels. The plan is to secure brand awareness and initial market response through online channels while simultaneously expanding local offline distribution networks to establish itself as a leading K-Beauty DEVEICE brand.

The company is also expanding its domestic sales base. Currently, it is expanding sales through major online and offline distribution channels, including its own online store, the Olive Young online store, and Sicoor. It plans to further increase its presence in offline stores in the future.

Last June, Alok launched “SkinMax,” a recurring-purchase AI beauty device that combines beauty technology with cosmetics. Rather than simply selling the DEVICE as a one-time purchase, the company has established a “razor-and-blade” business model designed to encourage repeat purchases of consumable cosmetics, such as serums. Through this approach, the company aims to increase customer lifetime value (LTV) and generate sustained revenue.

A PAKERS CO., Ltd. official stated, “As global consumers’ interest in K-Beauty expands beyond cosmetics into the beauty device and home care sectors, the growth potential of these related markets is also increasing.” The official added, “Based on Alok’s device technology and the competitiveness of its K-Beauty products, we will secure differentiated brand competitiveness in the global market and cultivate the K-Beauty platform business as a new growth engine for PAKERS CO., Ltd.”
