Shim Ri-seop recently posted on his YouTube channel, “Ri-seop,” stating, “I received a notification that I’ve been sued by one of the cast members of ‘I’m Single.’”
He explained, “I received a call from the Songpa Police Station informing me that the case would be transferred to the police station with jurisdiction over my address,” adding, “Since I haven’t gone in for questioning yet, I don’t know exactly who filed the lawsuit; I’ve only been told that I’m being sued over the content of the video titled ‘Sun-ja’s Sorrow and Anger, Watched Live by 400,000 People (Final Review of Season 31 of “I’m Single”)’.”
He continued, “I wonder who among the cast members of the legendary ‘Bullies of the 31st Class’ special was most offended by the content of this video. “I don’t know who it is, but it seems to be someone who doesn’t know me very well,” he said. “Just when the lingering effects of Season 31 were finally starting to fade thanks to Season 33’s ‘Food King’ Young-soo, someone went out of their way to reignite the flames—a level of ingenuity that’s impressive in more ways than one. Whoever filed the complaint against me, I’ll be sure to throw them a dopamine party soon. You can look forward to it.”
Shim Ri-seop reviews the ENA and SBS Plus show “I Am Single” on his YouTube channel. In the 31st season of “I Am Single,” controversy arose when footage aired showing cast members appearing to exclude Soon-ja. Shim Ri-seop shared his thoughts while watching a live broadcast of the 31st season, and it is reported that a cast member who saw this filed a lawsuit against him. Netizens are offering various speculations about who the 31st-season cast member who filed the lawsuit might be.
Meanwhile, Lee Si-seop married singer Bae Seul-gi in 2020, and the couple has a son.
