This marks NMIXX’s first new release in five months since they dropped their fourth mini-album, “Heavy Serenade,” last May. The new album features a total of six tracks, including the title track “Birthday Wish,” as well as “Kerosene,” “RudE TaLK,” “Sing to the Moon,” “Hot ‘n Unbothered,” and “WHIP.” Their agency described it as “an album with a dreamy atmosphere perfect for fall.” Among the tracks, “Sing to the Moon” is a unit song performed by Lily and Haewon, while “Hot ‘n Unbothered” is sung by Seolyoon and Bae. “WHIP” features Jiwoo and Kyujin. This marks the first time NMIXX has included unit tracks on an album. The agency stated, “The NMIXX members personally participated in the songwriting and composition of the unit tracks, adding a touch of authenticity.” Following the release of their new album, NMIXX will hold encore performances for their debut world tour, “EPISODE 1: ZERO FRONTIER,” at the Inspire Arena in Incheon from November 27 to 29.
