[Edaily Reporter Kwon Oh Seok ] CAP Co., Ltd. ( NPD Co.,Ltd.(198080)), a company specializing in wipers and surface mount technology (SMT), has secured “Company T”—the third-largest player in the North American wiper market—as a new client and is set to begin full-scale product supply. With this order, CAP has secured two of the top three companies in the North American wiper market as partners, further strengthening its global presence.

On the 21st, CAP announced that it will supply 160,000 flat wiper blades to U.S.-based Company T as the first shipment later this month. Starting next month, the company plans to significantly expand supply volumes to approximately 200,000 units per month. Given Company T’s dominant market share in North America, this trend of increasing supply volumes is expected to continue.
T Company is a distributor specializing in automotive parts and accessories and is a key player holding the third-largest market share in the North American wiper market. The North American wiper market, the world’s largest, features a highly developed aftermarket (AM) ecosystem driven by high vehicle replacement demand. CAP plans to use this new supply agreement as a springboard to significantly expand its customer base in North America, its core market.
Its expansion in the domestic market is also proceeding smoothly. CAP has secured “Tire Bank,” a tire distribution specialist with a network of approximately 500 stores nationwide, as a new business partner and began supplying hybrid wipers in August. The company explains that sales performance remains robust not only through existing distribution channels—such as large retailers like E-MART Co., Ltd. and Lotte Mart—but also at automotive maintenance and accessory specialty stores like Speedmate, leading to expectations of continued growth in domestic sales.
CAP, which currently supplies wiper products to over 40 countries worldwide, offers a full lineup ranging from standard to flat and hybrid wipers. In particular, the company is focusing on boosting profitability by continuously expanding the sales share of its high-value-added flat and hybrid wiper product lines.
A CAP official stated, “We plan to strengthen our foundation for stable growth by continuously securing new sales channels while diversifying our customer base.”
