CAMX is North America’s largest exhibition for composites and advanced materials, jointly hosted by the American Composites Manufacturers Association (ACMA) and SAMPE, a global professional organization specializing in advanced materials and process technologies. Composites manufacturers, materials and parts suppliers, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), research institutions, and engineering firms participate to share the latest materials, technologies, and business opportunities. Approximately 600 exhibiting companies and more than 800 brands are expected to participate in this year’s event.
UCM has established a local production plant in Greer, South Carolina, leveraging HankukCarbon’s global manufacturing and technology network. Based on this, the company plans to supply composite materials to North American customers and provide swift and flexible technical support. Additionally, UCM will have a booth at Building C, Level 1, Booth P38 during the exhibition to showcase its local U.S. production base and HankukCarbon’s global composite business capabilities. The company plans to showcase its comprehensive capabilities, including composite materials such as carbon, glass, and aramid prepregs, as well as engineering and solutions, and evaluation and analysis services.
UCM will also highlight its competitive edge, which stems from combining a global supply chain based in Korea, Vietnam, and the U.S. with local U.S. production capabilities, enabling the supply of customer-tailored materials, stable supply chain operations, prompt delivery, and on-site technical support. In addition, during the exhibition, the company plans to hold technical and business meetings with global composite materials and components companies to identify the latest technology trends and customer requirements in the North American market. Based on this, it will also seek business opportunities to expand its local U.S. production items and product portfolio.
Furthermore, the company plans to use this participation as an opportunity to raise brand awareness in the North American composites market, identify new customers and business opportunities, and strengthen cooperative relationships with existing customers. A UCM official stated, “CAMX 2026 is an important opportunity to showcase UCM’s U.S. production base and HankukCarbon’s global composite technology capabilities to the North American market,” adding, “Based on our U.S. production capabilities and global supply network, we will provide North American customers with faster and more reliable composite materials and solutions, and continue to expand our local business.”
