[Edaily Starin, Reporter Gim Ga Yeong ] KT Studio Genie is breaking through the limitations of its production environment by establishing a production system that applies AI to every stage, from content planning to production and quality control.

On the morning of the 21st, at the “KT Group Connect Week” event held at the KT WEST building in Gwanghwamun, Seoul, Eun Jae-hyun, Head of

at KT Studio Genie, unveiled the company’s “AI Cinema Studio” vision.
KT Studio Genie has built the “AI Cinema Studio,” a creator-centric AI content production system. Team Leader Eun explained, “While AI content typically refers to content that is automatically generated, mass-produced, or created at low cost, at KT Studio Genie, we are focusing on enabling creators to use AI to produce high-quality content.”
The AI production system consists of three pillars: △ AI Supervisor, △ AI-Optimized Filming System, and △ AI Production-Specialized Platform. Regarding the AI Supervisor, Team Leader Eun noted, “The goal is not only to develop AI business initiatives but also to lead AI content production, build AI projects within the studio, and internalize production capabilities.” He added, “To achieve this goal, we prioritize the operation of a team of specialized AI supervisors and the management of an AI collaboration ecosystem.” He continued, “The team of AI-specialized supervisors is tasked with selecting the AI technologies best suited for each project and identifying and managing the AI partners within the production ecosystem that best complement that project.”
AI Cinema Studio is a filming set system optimized for AI. The studio has built a system that uses green grid walls to allow on-site verification of how a filming location will appear. Team Leader Eun stated, “Just as VFX and CG brought film production from on-location shoots to the studio set, I believe this system will, in turn, transport the on-location scenes desired by creators from the set to the actual location.”
KT Studio Genie also operates its own large-scale AI production management platform, the AI Cinema Hub. Team Leader Eun explained, “As AI usage increased, we needed to manage large-scale production, so we’ve been using this platform since last year,” adding, “Since this platform serves both as a project management tool and as a hub for communicating with the external ecosystem, we named it the ‘Hub’ and are using it as such.”

During the event, a case study showcasing actual AI production was unveiled: the explosion and battlefield scenes appearing in the fantasy sequences featuring Moon Bit-na-ri (played by Kim Yo-han) in ENA’s “Rookie 4.” These scenes were completed by combining the actors’ performances with AI-generated visual effects.
KT Studio Genie is also preparing an AI-produced short-form drama titled *The Return of the God of War*. *The Return of the God of War* employs a combination of full AI action and motion transfer technology. According to the company, it utilizes an actor’s live-action performance as a foundation to create high-difficulty AI action scenes, cutting both time and costs in half compared to traditional production methods.
Team Leader Eun emphasized, “‘The Return of the God of War’ is a prime example of how the AI Cinema Studio’s AI Supervisor, AI Stage, and AI Hub were effectively integrated from the design phase onward.” He added, “KT Studio Genie aims to serve as a bridge connecting creators with AI systems on the AI Cinema Studio platform. We will continue to produce content featuring creators and actors that resonates deeply with audiences.”
