Director Kore-eda, along with Natsuki Deguchi and Aju Makita, will meet with Korean audiences in Seoul from the 8th to the 10th of next month, continuing the excitement surrounding the film’s domestic release.

MegaBox Joongang, the film’s importer and distributor, announced on the 22nd, “Director Hirokazu Kore-eda and lead actors Natsuki Deguchi and Aju Makita of the film ‘Look Back’ will visit Korea from the 8th to the 10th of next month.”
“Look Back” is a film that depicts the heartfelt story of two girls who became each other’s whole world as they spent four unforgettable seasons together.
In the released actor greeting video, Natsuki Deguchi and Aju Makita shared their thoughts on the film’s Korean release and confirmed their visit to Seoul. Natsuki Deguchi, who plays the role of “Fujino,” said, “I’m truly delighted that the Korean release has been confirmed and that I’ll be able to meet our Korean fans.”
Aju Makita, who plays “Kyomoto,” said, “I’m looking forward to hearing what you think after watching the film,” expressing her curiosity about the reactions of Korean audiences following the release. She also added that ticket sales for *Look Back* will open on the 24th.
“Look Back,” officially invited to the Gala Presentation section of the 31st Busan International Film Festival, will meet Korean audiences in Seoul following its screening in Busan. Director Hirokazu Kore-eda, Natsuki Deguchi, and Aju Makita are scheduled to attend events in Seoul from the 8th to the 10th of next month to interact directly with the audience.

“Look Back” is the first live-action adaptation of the manga by Tatsuki Fujimoto, the creator of the global phenomenon “Chainsaw Man.” Director Hirokazu Kore-eda, who won the Palme d’Or at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival for “Shoplifters,” served as director, screenwriter, and editor.
Following its achievement of winning five official independent awards—presented by various organizations and institutions—at the 83rd Venice International Film Festival, “Look Back” garnered attention at international film festivals after successfully completing its North American premiere at the 51st Toronto International Film Festival.
