According to his agency, Antenna, on the 22nd, Yoo Jae-suk had to cancel the recording of SBS’s “Whenever I Get a Chance” due to a temporary high fever caused by a cold. Yoo Jae-suk currently appears on SBS’s “Whenever I Get the Chance,” as well as “Running Man,” MBC’s “What Do You Do?” tvN’s “You Quiz on the Block,” KBS2’s “Happy Together,” and his YouTube channel “Pinggyeogo.” Attention is now focused on when he will return to the set. However, his agency has not disclosed a specific return date. His agency explained, “He is currently focusing on his recovery, and we have asked for the understanding of those involved and are coordinating a reschedule for the recording.”
On the same day, MyDaily reported that Yoo Jae-suk, while preparing to film SBS’s “Whenever I Get the Chance” near Jongno, Seoul, informed the production team of his health condition just before filming was set to begin, resulting in the cancellation of the shoot. It is understood that Yoo Jae-suk notified the production team in advance, out of concern that filming while in poor health might cause them trouble.
This marks the first time Yoo Jae-suk has canceled a recording on the day of filming since his debut in the 1st KBS University Comedy Festival in 1991—a span of 35 years.
